This photograph is an example of light vs. dark. This is an example of light vs. dark because the light is shinning on the woman creating her to be blacked out. I like this photo because it reminds me of the saying that there is always a light or hope at the end of the tunnel or dark times. Light is the subject matter in this photo because it is very bright and the photographer seemed to focus on it and the woman. This is how this picture shows light vs. dark.

Title: Business man in the street, casting long shadows

This photograph shows an example of light causing a shadow. The photographer caught the shadow in the image because the sun was shinning light from behind the people causing them to create a shadow. This also shows light vs. dark because the ground shows the light of the sun, while everything else is dark. I chose this picture because I like how the shadows are proportional, and show the exact height of the person, if you couldn’t see them in the picture. This is how this picture shows a shadow.

Title: Reflection of young man in the sea
URL: http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/103753562/Flickr

This photograph shows a good example of light being used to create a reflection. The photographer got the picture because the light was shinning behind the person which casted a reflection into the water. This is also an example of light vs. dark because part of the water is brighter than the rest, and the person is blacked out. I chose this picture because I like how it shows someone just standing and looking out over the water just relaxing. This is how this picture shows reflection.
